Well, I love any kind of party, really, but weddings are my favorite. Weddings are where you can really set your mind free to imagine all the beautiful scenes, spaces, food, and vibes you saw in Insta reels and all the airport  magazines (including, of course, the subscription to Martha Stewart Living from way back when).

As a planner who specializes in intimate weddings and detail-rich wedding planning services, I focus on designing celebrations that feel intentional, personal, and deeply reflective of who you are as a couple. In weddings, you can make your own beautiful, emotional, ephemeral world come to life for a brief time. I love seeing guests' reactions at my parties - the ooos! and the wows! when they notice the attention to detail. They know it’s something special; they can feel it. That’s what I want to help create for you.

I live in Kensington, MD with my husband and foster cats where I’m slowly transitioning my garden into a native plant oasis, embracing the natural beauty that inspires much of my work at Mayapple Weddings. Until recently, I worked for USAID and Peace Corps; international development was my world. Now my world is focused on beauty, nature, and the art of gathering through Mayapple Weddings.
